Certified Security Enters Wisconsin Security Market via Merger with Protection Service

October 10,2004, Long Grove, IL — Rapidly growing Certified Security of Chicago has acquired the assets of Protection Service of Sheboygan, WI, representing an account base throughout southern Wisconsin. This represents the first step in a growth plan into Wisconsin by Certified. Protection Service’s President, Dan Krueger, had this to say about the transaction: “When something feels as right as this one does, you just have to act on it. Certified and Protection Service are a good match, and I look forward to growing the business throughout Wisconsin.” Krueger will remain on as General Manager of the combined operations in Wisconsin.

Commenting on the acquisition, Certified President, Jay Rutili, had this to say: “Wisconsin represents an amazing growth opportunity. It’s a vibrant area and Sheboygan is a particularly exciting community in which to base many of our activities. Dan Krueger is a real asset to the company and we look forward to a long and a mutually profitable relationship.”

Representing the seller in this transaction were Davis Marketing Group’s Katie Bally and Managing Partner, Ron Davis. The transaction closed on October 4, 2004.
